The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna hosts a Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence: for the next three years, the AgLAW research group has been entrusted with leading the SUSTAIN Centre of Excellence on EU Actions for the Sustainability of Agriculture and Food Systems, under the coordination of Mariagrazia Alabrese, Professor of Agricultural Law at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
The official launch of the SUSTAIN Centre of Excellence will take place during the webinar “Navigating the Future of EU Sustainable Food Systems in the Digital Age”, scheduled for Friday, January 19 at 9:30 AM (CET) on Webex. Click here to register.
The event will feature presentations on several topics related to the project: from a report on the latest developments at COP28 in Dubai, to the digital transition of the EU’s agri-food systems, among many other themes. Upcoming events, training courses, and SUSTAIN seminars will also be announced.
SUSTAIN aims to foster research, knowledge, and public awareness on EU agri-food systems and the role of the EU in promoting their sustainability and climate resilience, adopting an interdisciplinary perspective.
