The “Doctoral Days in Agricultural Law” aim to foster the exchange of ideas and the sharing of research paths among scholars in the fields of agricultural and food law, with particular attention given to those taking their first steps in this scientific area. In this sense, the event is intended to serve as a privileged opportunity for dialogue between PhD candidates, early-career researchers, and other members of the academic community in agricultural law.
Abstract submissions are now open for the Third Edition of the Doctoral Days in Agricultural Law, which will take place on:
Thursday 18 and Friday 19 April 2024
at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa
on the theme:
“Agri-food systems and sustainable development”
PhD candidates, recent PhD graduates, and early-career researchers are invited to submit an abstract, in Italian, focusing on original aspects of their research activities related to the theme “Agri-food systems and sustainable development”. Contributions should address relevant issues within the scientific-disciplinary sector IUS/03 Agricultural Law, including the regulation of economic activities that use natural resources to obtain agricultural, food, and fisheries products and to provide agri-environmental services; the regulation of agricultural and food supply chains and markets; and issues concerning agri-environmental protection, forest supply chains, rural areas, and animal welfare.
Deadline for abstract submission: 1 March 2024.
By 20 March 2024, the evaluation committee will select the abstracts for participation in the Doctoral Days, which will take place exclusively in person at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa.
Selected participants will be notified promptly by email.
